Andrei Arshavin’s arrival at Arsenal captured headlines for plenty of weeks. Mainly due to the huge transfer fees which the Russian club, Zenith St. Petersburg, asked for and Arsene Wenger was reluctant to splash out for. Arsenal desperately needed a player up front to get some goals and Arshavin was quick to show his class and ability.
