..Kuyt extends contract too

Liverpool fans had a fabulous day.After Gerrard extending his contract with the Anfield club its the turn of Dutchman,Dirk Kuyt.

Kuyt has agreed to pen a two year contract extension which would keep him with Liverpool till 2012.He already had one year remaining in the current contract.

Manager Rafael Benitez said:

“This is another great piece of news for the club.

“Dirk had one year left on his contract and we were keen for him to stay. He is a player with great quality who has a big part to play in our future. We are delighted to have reached an agreement. “

Kuyt had moved to Liverpool in 2006 from Feyenoord.He’s played second most number of games this season,second only to Jamie Carragher.
