Mohamed AlFayed joy Portsmouth v Fulham 863723 Al Fayed rubbishes Fulham sale gossip

Fulham and Harrods owner Mohammed Al Fayed has angrily dismissed rumours of his intention to sell the cottagers.

Fulham are having a fantastic season after a horrible campaign last time around where they managed to stay in the top flight only on the last day.

The claims were made by Evening Standard and claimed Al Fayed was looking to sell the club after losses of 7.5 million pounds were announced for the previous financial year.

Fulham’s website reads :

Fulham’s Chairman Mohamed Al Fayed is angered by claims in the Evening Standard that he is interested in selling the Club and dismisses any notion that the Club is up for sale.

The comment was made by an analyst who has nothing to do with the Club, who has never spoken to the Chairman, and who the Chairman believes is ignorant of Fulham and its position.

Following a fantastic season under Roy Hodgson, the Chairman wants to assure the fans that he is as committed as ever to the Club and to its future success.
